The Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR) has served a fire enforcement notice after identifying “significant fire safety shortfalls” at the Hinkley Point C nuclear construction site.

The Office for Nuclear Regulation has notified NNB Generation Company (HPC) Ltd, Bouygues Travaux Publics SAS and Laing O’Rourke Delivery Ltd that they will be prosecuted for health and safety offences following a worker fatality at Hinkley Point C.
